Employee Certification
With all the new technology in the automotive industry, Collision Specialists, Inc., is committed to continued education for all its employees. All technicians have completed post secondary education for collision repair. We do not stop there. Technicians are required to continue their education through the classes offered by ICAR (Inter-Industry Conference on Auto Collision Repair) and have to maintain credits yearly for CSI to be awarded ICAR Gold, the highest ranking in the world wide organization of ICAR. The classes range from refinish technologies to the new hybrid and nitrogen vehicles, also, welding qualification testing and complete frame and unitized construction and repair.
Employees are also involved in AMI (Automotive Management Institute), which is business training for the estimators and management, and can use these credits for the ICAR Gold qualification. We are currently one of a few repair facilities that have the ICAR Gold certificate in southern Minnesota.
We are also ASE (Automotive Service of Excellence) qualified as technicians are required to take testing at least every 5 years to keep the ASE logo.
Technicians are also certified in manufacture certifications for equipment used and operated in CSI's 8300 square foot facility and is GM certified.
